From 19.00 there will also be the opportunity to have photographs by Steve Andrews

Name badges will be given when you register, these will show your name, your site username and your surgery type (as long as you gave us that information when you booked your ticket!) Your name badge will serve as your ticket.

We have a photographer who will take digital photos of members, which will then be posted on a secure site that is password protected. All photographs taken will be together under the same password. This will be a great opportunity to have up-to-date photos done for your Album on the site, or to get photos to send to family and friends who you might not get to see that often, or just to keep for yourself to track your progress. We ask that anyone using this fantastic opportunity make a donation of £5.00 this will provide you with a minimum of three photographs; Group shots will be charged at an additional fee of £5.00. We will have a team member to hand rattling the tin! We would also ask that group photos be done after all single photos have been done.

The buffet will be a finger and hot buffet of standard buffet food, including vegetarian options. Soup will also be available. If you have any specific dietary needs or know you can only manage a limited range of foods please bring what you need with you.

Bringing your own food
The centre is happy for us to bring our own food and understand our dietary requirements. They have however asked that we make sure that this food is only consumed in either your own hotel room (if staying at the venue) or in the function room where we are situated. Please do not eat your own food in any of the public areas. Sandwiches and snacks are available to buy at the centre for those arriving early on the Saturday.

Angela Chouaib: In 2009 Angela was in the same position as many bariatric patients are now, after losing 10 stone was altogether overwhelmed by the plastic surgery options available. After many months of intense research into plastic surgery in the UK and abroad decided to have her treatment in Europe. Angela’s life changing and positive experience led her to focus on helping other bariatric patients access safe and affordable surgical options.

Since humble beginnings in 2010, Secret Surgery has grown rapidly, Angela now helps 3 to 5 patients every week and has 100’s of positive stories.As a result of her success in 2012 was involved in a 2 year medical research programme and was recognised by Professors/Doctors at Leeds University as best practice worldwide field of Medical tourism and has also won an International award for her contribution to the Polish Economy and was also a finalist in the UK Inspirational Women Awards in 2014.

Angela says “I learnt in the process of my extensive research that choice is something we should be entitled to as long as it is always a safe well informed one – I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experiences with you all.”
